Carnival Condom Beads FAQ

Common questions about the patented Carnival Condom Bead, from what is inside the pouch to how vendors and promoters order in quantity. If your question is not here, the flagship store team can help.

About the product

Is this different from a Mardi Gras throw?

It is the same patented condom bead, framed for the wider world of Carnival. That covers Caribbean and Latin carnival, European pre-Lenten festivals, and adult costume events, not only a single Fat Tuesday parade.

What is actually inside the bead?

Each piece hangs a color pouch from a 33-inch Mardi Gras strand. The pouch holds an FDA-approved branded condom and a short STI and condom-use instruction card, and the front carries a full-color decal medallion. See the throw for a full breakdown.

Is it patented?

Yes. The Carnival Condom Bead is a design-patented product registered under Patent #D484,065, so it is a specific item rather than a generic novelty.

Colors, artwork, and lead time

What colors and imprint options are available?

Strands come in the full Mardi Gras palette and more, including purple, green, gold, red, blue, silver, black, orange, pink, navy, maroon, lime, and rainbow. Pouches come in red, blue, black, gold, green, orange, and clear. The decal prints in full color across a 2.125-inch round, full-bleed imprint area.

How do I supply artwork, and is there a setup fee?

Send vector artwork in .eps or .ai, or a high-quality PDF or JPEG, so the decal prints clean. A small one-time setup charge covers preparing your art, separate from the per-piece cost.

How long does an order take?

Production runs on the order of five to seven working days after you approve the proof, not counting shipping. Lock your artwork early so a booth or event date is never at risk. Full detail is on the ordering page.

Buying and appropriateness

Can festival vendors and promoters buy in quantity?

Yes. The product is priced in bulk tiers, so the per-piece cost drops from small booth runs into the hundreds and thousands, which makes it practical to stock a booth or supply a promoted carnival night.

Is this appropriate for family events?

No. It is an adult, after-dark novelty. Keep it to 21-and-over parades, costume balls, adult festival zones, and outreach tables, and leave it off family daytime lineups.

Where do orders and pricing live?

This site introduces the product and its carnival-season angle. Ordering, current options, and live pricing are handled on the PromotionBeads.com product page, where checkout is secure.
